Fund Overview
Seeking higher income potential from multiple sectors of the global bond market
A global multi-sector bond fund, PIMCO Diversified Income Fund can serve as a risk-managed, income-oriented complement to traditional core bond holdings.
Why Invest In This Fund
Enhanced income potential
The fund can take advantage of a global opportunity set, focusing on bond sectors that may provide an incremental yield advantage over government bonds. These sectors include primarily investment grade corporate, high yield and emerging market bonds, as well as other sectors appearing to offer relative value.
A dynamic, flexible approach
The fund’s management team has the flexibility to adjust the fund’s sector weightings in response to changing market and economic conditions. This dynamic approach can allow the fund to both be defensive and take advantage of compelling income opportunities across regions and credit qualities.
Supported by four decades of bond experience
PIMCO has been a pioneer in fixed income investing for four decades, with expertise across virtually every sector of the bond market. Our time-tested investment process combines our informed, top-down global economic outlook with rigorous credit research and risk management.
